SO ..
This car was featured in Classic Ford Magazine August 2011 (I have the copy of the mag to go with the car) And was on various show stands last year with Classic Ford Magazine.
The escort was fully restored less than 4000 miles ago and has never been welded apart from the wheel arches that have been added & took over 60 hours to complete, they are totally one off for a mk3 escort built by Old Skool Engineering.
Has just been MOT'd & went through with no advisories & has 4 months TAX.
Fully restored underside, with all painted or powder coated suspension. This includes:
Koni suspension
rs1600i roll bar
rs1600i brakes all round
All new brake lines, clips and hoses
7x13 minilites with brand new yoko tyres all round
Interior is a work of art as you can see in the pictures they are custom made seats that cost a fortune but it's the small details that make this car! Look at the colour of the dash and the carpets.
Engine
fully rebuilt 1600 cvh ex race engine, detuned for use on the road.
Just refreshed by wacky performance engines less than 500 miles ago.

Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold + full system

All done less than 500 miles since refresh, it's still running a mild cam whilst running in but will be sold with a phase 4 Newman cam fitted & turned before sale. Unless new owner wants it with just the mild cam tuned for a few £'s less
I have this car insured with Adrian Flux as an agreed value on a classic policy for £6,000. This was with a standard cvh on carbs.
Bad bits:
I think there's 3 chips on the entire car which you can't even see unless you go really hunting for them (I will point them out when being sold)
Clutch release bearing slightly noisy but is brand new, I think it has something to do with the compression.
The rs 4 spoke steering wheel is ok but it's not as clean as the rest of the interior.
I have been very honest with the faults of the car, they are very minor and you probably wouldn't of noticed when veiwing the car
I am interested in p/x's & swaps so doesn't hurt to ask.
Really looking for something that I can use for track days & use on the road.
