Proper ball ache to re bleed after wards but as said above just fill the new filter with fresh fuel prior to installation and then put a hand pump on the centre pipe of the filter andd then if no joy may be a bit of easy start/brake cleaner

PS Don't get too carried away with the brake cleaner
do this ^^^^ tho they have always fired right up for me after hand priming them, dont like using brake cleaner/ easystart its no good for the turbo
