RST Turbo upgrade
Hi
I have a series 2 Escort Turbo, i have done a fair bit to the engine and now i'm ready to upgrade the turbo.
Can anyone answer the following...
What PSI will a standard turbo run at before struggling?
Is there an easy upgrade or should i go to turbo specialist and have one built?
Also i am considering a straight cut gearbox but on my last trip to Burton Power the two chaps behind the counter tried to talk me out of it. Has anybody had a straight cut box? Is it that unbearable - it's a second car and mainly used for santa pod
