People regularly put e-petitions on the government portal that end up with high numbers signing them, but even though the top ones get read by an mp, does anything happen? does it fuck.

While the government is shortish of cash, they will continue to rape the motorist as we are an easy profitable cash cow.

Not convinced anything will change in our lifetimes other than possibly oil running out or most cars being electric so petrol is a low level usage commodity. Wont make it cheaper even if that happened.
