Right troops seem to have cured it fingers crossed , right hope this makes sense from alternator (blue wire) to starter this cable was jointed onto another blue wire that goes away from starter into loom so could not see where it went this joint in blue wires was all corroded/rusted , took apart stripped and reconnected joint , put jump leads onto my car started it for about 15-30 mins shut off engine and no batt light so started and turned off engine 3 or 4 times and all seems okk , so hopefully thats what the prob was , what are these wires im talking about didnt seem to be doing anything just siitingthere near starter connections
