Correct, nothing special, it's true of any example of 'adaptive' engine management, hence the name, it's not your driving style though, rather different conditions, as in the case of the former it will reference the map relevant to the drivers input.

Re the OP's question it depends tbh, as with any computer the ECU can only do what it has been told, i.e. mapped for, so if the turbo is different then I would say it would need remapping imo.
