and thought the same for the mounts I know the vauxhall and Saab mounts are interchangeable but prob won't help in the ford
The mounts arent interchangable at all, the cars share the same mounting points, but the mounts are totally different.
So if you had some mounts that allowed you to fit an XE in a mk4 escort for example, they would be completely useless for a B204
it's going to be purely for road use and more to be different than outright performance, just nice to have a little poke when u want it lol
The engines are great, the standard turbos are a bit small, but it depends what your idea of a little poke is.
450-500bhp is perfectly realistic from a standard engine if you change the manifold/turbo/injectors/downpipe and remap it.
F23 might be worth looking at instead of the F28, F28 boxes are getting a lot harder to find in good condition now.
