Recently, the exhaust on my Zafira GSI was rotting away, so I had it replaced with a Milltek job and had it remapped at the same time at AMD in Essex.

Due to a slight crack in the manifold, the full potential was no realised so I enquired about fitting a later Zafira VXR turbo and manifold on.

I also asked about remapping after fitting and was told that "The map that is on your car will adapt to the new Turbo so will not need to be adjusted."

Just wondering wether this is plausible, that a map will adapt to any changes?
