Help needed
I have been building my escort Cosworth for a while and iv come up with a couple of problems which I'm sure somebody must have come across before .
The running gear I am using is out of my 4x4 sapphire Cosworth , firstly I had a problem with the fuel regulator being too big so after a trip to A1 rally sport I got a small turbo escort 1 , the next proplem is the top radiator hose on the inlet side of the engine is leaning on top of the power steering pulley , I have found out why the escorts run the power steering pump on the other side under the alternator , now my Idea is to cut off the mounts to the rad and lower them by 50 mm and re attach them which will raise the whole thing hopefully clearing the pulley , or does anybody have any other ideas other than converting it to the other side escort set up ?
