Had one from 6 months old,done 120k in it sold it coz I fancied a changed,got a few different things then went and got another one as it ticked all the boxes for us. The old one never once let me down and apart from tyres,one stt of discs and pads at 90k and the egr valve it didn't need anything at all. This one we have now has been spot on so far too. Considering the number of Mondeo TDCis sold there are always going to be some bad apples. Just a shame that the TDCIs are invariably very expensive to fix when they do go wrong - same seems to be true for all common rail diesels.
Get a good one, and they are awesome cars for the money.
