Lovely mate, stick with it I had a strato silver Escort sport, on an early XR2/3 carb, cam, Ashley four branch and system, K+N, and lowered about 40mm. It was the most fun car i've had. Absolute hoot, was my daily plus it went all over the place to shows and meets and was dead reliable, nice and simple to work on, not overtly fast, but sounded the part, handled really well, and certainly drew attention. Sold it to fund an RS Turbo that still hasn't been on the bloody road
