I find the digital verniers to be a bit awkward tbh

Being used to a normal type I find the digital verniers can vary by upto 0.3mm depending on how hard you push the jaws together and it always makes me doubt myself/

If you're not working to tolerances of around 0.2 then I'd stick with a decent set of manual verniers. Mitutoyo are a reasonably priced make
