A friend of mine had a go in my 2.9 v6 24v BOA XR4x4 and said he finds it hard to believe it's near 200bhp.

I know he aint scared of his right foot either so I reckon he had a good go down his local b roads.

He has a mk2 Astra GTE 16v and seemed to beleive the Sierra wasn't as fast.

Now I know the Astra is lighter especially with the 4x4 stuff on the Sierra, he has a 'power cap' ( I presume some sort of uprated fuel pressure regulator?) a good exhaust an an unknown chip, which is how he bought the car years ago. Maybe more stuff that he doesn't know about?

I have not been in the car neither as a passenger or a driver, but have heard a lot of my friends say it is an animal.

Please don't think I have anything against Vauxhalls as I don't and I know what a good reputation the xe engine has I just want to know what power you can make easily without a turbo. He's always said I should stick an xe in one of my Sierra's.
