Hi, has anyone managed to fit a silvertop or blacktop rocker cover onto an ST170?

I need to fit one so my bonnet will shut as the st170 cover is taller.

Im not using the vvt so that valve could be disconnected or cut a hole in the silvertop/blacktop cover for it to come through like the st170 cover?
