This is not a solution, but easier than releaving the pressure from the filter, is to just unplug the fuel injection fuse.
Anyhow, it is clear that it is overfueling. First unplug the cold start injector connentor. See if it made a difference, propably not. Then unplug the connector from the electromagnetic pressure actuator on the side of the metering head. Did you now got rid of the massive overfueling? If yes, then you have a sensor or fuel ecu problem.
