I have a 75PS TDDi with over 168k on the clock and it runs fine. Rear bulbs do tend to blow every couple of months, so I keep spares in the glove box
Body work does appear to have been well treated to prevent rust! I dink'd the rear door, down to the metal almost, and it has not rusted yet, that was 3 years ago. If that had happened to my mk5 Escort, it would have rusted to bits by now!
