I lost momentum at about 80mph a few times and could tell something wasn't right so pulled into a layby where she stalled and then just wouldn't restart. I noticed as I was pulling over the engine was 'ticking'?
The AA man said she was dry, filled her with oil, she started but the engine was still ticking and he said something about some lower noises meant there was engine damage and I'd need a rebuild....
