Low mileage cars are false economy and generally worse condition.
A car thats done 100k on the motorway will be in a far better condition than a car that has done 30k of stop/start driving.
My Uncle bought a 2008 Citreon C5 on 24k and it's fucked

I work in the trade and I totally agree. Rather buy a newer car with high mileage than an old car with low mileage. IMO most issues on modern cars seem to be age rather than use/wear related.
Also with the huge price drop at 100k+ miles you have quite a bit of spare cash to spend.
Nothing wrong with rep/company cars, at least they get serviced regularly with no regards to cost. (depending on the company obviously)
