I've sorn'd my car a few days ago and now need to sell it.

How does the buyer tax it? Does the buyer need the v5 to re-tax? I wanted to send the v5 off to DVLA myself (with the new owner section filled in) just to make sure everything is done properly so is there any way around that?

Also, DVLA says you can't re-tax within 21 days of declaring SORN, does that mean I can't sell yet and have to wait 21 days?
