Think of it when you turn the shim 90 degrees, no everything it would normally change in camber is now changed in toe. Having it at 5 or 10 degrees (what it probably is in reality) means both camber and toe are changed.
The hub may not be parallel to the ground but thats only going the affect the camber of the wheel! the only way they would affect toe in and out is if you put them in wronge so the thin end faced the front of the car moving the hub in such a way it would affect the toe in and out of the wheel lol. As matt rs says above he needs to put his on a supper tracker and see how his rear wheel toe is compared to the standard figures plus if they did fuck up the toe in of the rear wheels everyone who has fitted them would be saying dont do it as the car will scrub the outside edge of the tyres
