They were stiff too, i fitted the Spax adjustable full kit when i was building it back up not realising it was more suited to track work. Bit annoying when you weren't in the mood for a firm ride, but fantastic the rest of the time.

Turned it from rolly, sloppy 22 year old drive to a balanced, keen and controllable toy. I did the steering rack bushes in poly too which i wasn't sure about at first, but it made such a difference. I could feel a bit of movement at the tyres even though the wheel wasn't moving beforehand whilst cornering over a crest for example, afterwards it was totally predictable and direct.
