I don't disagree with what your saying, and the following pics are just for discussion rather than to say Karlos's intake is no good. For the price I think its cock on.





All the CFD I have seen suggests that raised trumpets work best for the first cylinder.... I have seen some CFD for a very similar manifold to yours which I will try and find again.... this however used raised trumpets as well as a larger cross section by entry to lower gas speed which you have done. The results looked good.
