i bought an rainbmotorsport act gauge. i have two questions...

1st, the sensor cable is sort, can i cut it and fit a longer to reach the inlet manifold whithout effect the gauge readings??
2st there wasn't and pre drilled take off elbow, for the ecu etc with thw sensor, is just the sensor, where can i fit it without any air leaks etc. Because soon i will go to efi and i need to re use the sensor can i put it to the silicon hose between charge carrier and inlet whithout air leaks?? Any photos from fitting to mfi manifolds would be great full!
