Steering O ring
Hi,
Done a job on the car today and took it out for a spin, on my return (In a tight turning) ATF was pouring over the floor, obviously because the PAS is under load.
I haven't had a look properly yet, but suffice to say I know it's steering related, I suspect it's either the pump to rack pipe, or the 'O' ring (the latter would be the preferred choice)
The question is does anyone know the size of this O ring, as I don't really feel like getting ripped off by going to Ford?
Also I have brought a cambelt cover, but it's from a BT Escos, can anyone confirm this will fit a 2WD Saph, as the top is more 'rounded' opposed to being square like the 3DR/Saph, I tried it briefly today and it seemed a really tight fit, I am pretty sure it will fit as in theory there is no difference in the design between the engines, but can anyone confirm this for sure?
