im told crank walk is where the crank shifts about as the previous poster has said, i bought my previous evo5 back 2 weeks ago and within an hour it threw a rod out thru the block, so i bought another engine and fitted it, my idea was to use this engine for a while as it was second hand etc and didnt trust it
heres where it gets weird
bought a second hand bare block for a forged rebuild, the engine number starts with CD with i think is a later block but unsure.
i was online one of our local websites and saw this evo 4 with a 5 engine rebuilt for 1800 euro, i said "bargain", rang the engine builder and confirmed it was all rebuilt as per what the seller said, on brining it home i see the engine number is TH which is a 4 engine and hence my question over crank walk, i bought it as a track slag only and felt if i rolled it etc the 5 engine as i thought inside it would be worth something.
so now i have a 5 with a secondhand engine im scared to blow up again, bought what i thought was a 4 with a 5 engine but now i fear its a 4 with a 4 engine , lol, is life ever simple,
