You need to go to your local d la office for them to correct the mistake, writing letters and silly stuff don't work
Once you've proved that you are who you say you are and the car is yours and legit and taxed and insured and all sorts of shit along those lines, it's a headache but worth it

I had to visit several times because "the insurance company can fax a coly of the documentation through, but we only accept original copies of any paperwork" bollocks
