i had a 2.9 daily driver, befor i got the cossie,
absolutly loved it, magnex, pair of k&ns, big cam, ported heads uprated fuel pressure,
just over 170bhp on ther rollers, it wasn't earth shattering by any standeds, but the torque was fantastic. plant you right foot at any speed in any gear and it would just take off.
yours being the 2.8 is a little harder to tune due to the simesed port heads and the MFi.
but there are still plenty of tuning options
in the damp when pushed very hard through corners and roundabouts it would understeer then start to drift when the the back wheels broke traction. but it was very predicable (spax adjsustable PSX sport suspention kit about a 40mm drop and goodyear NCT 205 50 15 tyres)
as said above the fuel consumptions was shocking, mine was as little as 10mpg sometimes.
i would proberly still have it now but it was rear ended back in 2001 and was written off.
