I should I know, but near standard power how long before you want to throw cash at the Type R?

Exactly why I wouldn't have a Golf or Seat though...

If you fancied something bigger then a Legacy makes a great practical daily driver.

But from the sounds of it the 200sx would be more what you're looking for.
No Soarers or Legacy types, too big.

S14's that aren't ragged & silly miles you're spending at least £4k? or am I looking in wrong places? would love a S15 but that's 5k minimum.

I was checking what Golf R32's had come down to, but running costs are shocking I've heard & they haven't come down much! 5k still, at least.

You mean like an S4?

It was my 3rd 106, had Rallye's before & they just feel too small and rattle-box for a daily now, even though GTI had leathers etc.. I was slipping into modding it to justify keeping it & didn't want to chuck money at an old 106 with the Cossie always wanting something.

Astra I don't like in any guise ... was ideally looking to swap on a 172 or 182 as it goes, keep trying to work out why they're so so cheap though even quite well spec'd, I'd say it's top of the list but a CTR will hold money at least, or I'm hoping lol.
