I bought a ready built one off a geezer last year, just aint got round to fitting it yet.
There was a bloke in Classic ford with one in a cortina that he had slapped a turbo on.
Tis what I have. I run the VIS from the Scorpio also. Lets it bimble along on tick over quite nicely, open the throttle over 3K and it comes alive. The twin air intakes are larger overall than the Sierra 8V. I also heard the Scorpio head flows better than the RS2K one. The 8v bottom end will survive a nuclear strike. I always wondered why no one developed this engine, after all, how did the YB come about? I got a few spare blocks and heads so am looking to experiment with a turbo set up next year. 2 litre, 16 valves, can't see why this engine would be harder than a cossy, I think it's just because no one can be arsed.
