ok, run this checklist and see what you've missed:
ignition to position 1 and bleed the rear brakes first, with foot on the pedal for person 1, rear brake nipple opened by perosn number 2 and person number 3 making sure there is fluid in the resivour?
repeat on the other side at the rear?
check the relays under the dash and, if it's a 4wd car, there is one in the fuse box as well?
