I'm replacing a front diff on a 2009 Ranger 4x4 at work.
Removed prop, both front knuckles/hubs complete and the complete intermediate shaft/driveshaft on the nearside.
Having problems with the offside driveshaft, it's only meant to be held in with a snap-ring.

ETIS procedure advises to use pry bar to pop the shafts out.

Spent ages bashing/levering/prying/swearing at it today but it's not budging.
I thought about using the Ford fork tool used on Focus etc that fits through the diff but the Ranger diff pin is too fat for it.
Any ideas?
