A friend of mine has just has his Ford Puma written off by the other parties insurance company, he's being paid out and has been offered the car back for £88!! Thing is its only the passenger door that needs replacing, everything else is spot on, he's spent loads of money replacing all bushes, brakes, suspension etc and its only done 64k so drives like new. They quoted for brand new door, whole side to be painted etc... Thing is its been classed as a Cat C. How does he go about getting a VIC check done or what does he need to do to make it road legal?
