Any ideas how to get rid of the problem without buying new tyres?
How many years was it stored for ? Cant say Ive ever had it happen a car even if sitting parked up for well over a year.

And clearly if the wheels/tyres balanced fine, the wheels/tyres are not the problem. If if the tyres had flat spots ( which actually only occurs after a severe lock up ) the problem would be there at all speeds.

They dont suddenly go from round to flat then round again.

Swap wheels back to front and see if it moves. But it usually takes a huge issue on rear tyres for it to actually be felt.
