Will eat the miles and still drive nicely. Make sure teh oil changes have been kept up or the engine may suffer with sludging which wil kill it. The rear lip was added for stability after a few owners were killed so I would be very inclined to put it back on again. Watch the temp gauge as the water pump impellor can crack and stop circulating water. Also watch for oil in the coolant system, this is not usually the headgasket but the oil cooler which is a cheap and very easy fix.

You will want a remap though as the extra weight and complexities of the 4x4 seems to numb them down. A friends remapped 225 is still on the original clutch at almost 180k miles
