Yes the "Uprated" switch from MSD is designed to replace the standard Sierra one which has a terrible span.

The Escos though had dual speed fans, yes thats true if it's like a "RS500 style" as it blocks the rad it will increase the overall temperature.

No, the fact the fans cycle show it's not overheating, as said.

The temperature gauge seems to be working fine (or as reliable as they can be)
