If you just paid 50k for the moonstone 500 or 35k for the 3dr that just sold, and the cam covers a bit marked or the alloy has dulled, then £600 is buttons to get the car spot on.

The market dictates Im afraid, not the seller on ebay auctions, and they have decided its actual true value.

Even brand new crated RS500 engines dont have the correct cam cover fitted so it was a rare item for someone to find.

Would I pay that, hell no I would get Tremona to refurb my own one to exactly the same condition for a lot less, but Im tight.
