The problem with RPM switchining is that whilst it works great at full throttle on a dyno pull, it will have implications for when you are at that point in the rev range on a closed throttle and then open it etc.
Cool makes sense. What I was saying about an RPM/Load switch still stands. A magic box that looks at both rpm/load on a look up table controlling when the valve is opened. Not hard to do.
