Default modified Mk4 escort efi xr3i cabriolet

Right fed up of it just sitting there so its time to sell up.

Its a mk4 escort cabby, started life as a white mfi cabby but didnt stay that way for long

I painted it cossie moonstone blue, all shuts were done including the slam panel but then engine bay itself is still white, rear lights were also given a light tint of colour coding.

Its got genuine S1 arches and skirts and i smoothed the front/rear bumpers and it also has an RS options front splitter, again the recess was smoothed to match the bumper.

Its sitting on a set of OZ 5 spoke 15" alloys which tbh could do with a refirb as lacquer is peeling off.

Its on standard shocks but has lowering springs, poss spax as they are, or were purple!!

When i converted it to efi i fitted a full efi loom out of another escort cabby and the engine came out of my old xr2i.

Its a modded 1.6 cvh 8v engine, its got a burton ported head(has the green tinge to it) has a fast road cam, vernier pulley etc and the ECU has a superchip fitted. When it was in my 2i had a dyno reading of 128bhp which doesnt sound a lot but when the cam kicked in it pulled like a train!!!

Also has a janspeed 4 2 1 manifold and exhaust system.

The interior is standard bar white dials and colour coded trim bits as you can see from the pic.

Now for the bad bits:

Its been sat about 2 years now so rust has started to come through in places, also has a few dings here and there but unfortunatley i had a tree in the front garden and it decided to fall down last year it damaged the roof frame and has put dents in the boot (annoying as roof was near mint!!) but the roll over bar is undamaged plus as the wire that holds the roof down at the back wasnt attatched it doesnt seem to have damaged the vinyl so could poss fit onto another frame.....

The interior is part fitted so not finished as i had taken it all out to do some bits to it a while back.

Its also got a clifford concept 300 fitted.

Chances are due to it sitting things like brakes etc will be need changing plus possibly other things not had time to check it over really.

Theres probably more ive forgotten so feel free to ask.

I know these fetch good money in good condition but obviously with the roof/boot damage now and the fact its been sitting a long time i know its not worth what it should be but then engine and kit alone i could sell for good money.

If it doesnt get sold then i'll just end up stripping it which i dont really want to do plus would be mint again with some time and TLC, better pics can be taken on request these were just a few i took the other day so i could get a for sale post up!!

Dont really know what to ask for it but as you have to have a price to advertise i'll put it up at £700 but open to any sensible offers.
