The eye end is the bent part, the barrell is the part with the thread stripped out. I would be having a serious look at the long strut, as well as the ARB mounting bracket & bolts as that has had a fucking hard whack

sorry weve confused each other, when you said you had a spare i thought you ment that it came with a knackerd eye end, i know my eye end is no good and ill need a new one..
the strut itself seems straight and true. and my struts didnt come with mounting brackets so ive bought new ones of them anyway
