Time to let my little ZS go to a new home...
Many of you who read Fast Ford will no doubt already know the car in question, but for those who don't - it's a year 2000 (X-reg) Mk5 Fiesta Zetec S.
I've owned the car for about 16months now, and it's been immense amounts of fun. But I've taken it as far a I want to go with it - and it's (for me at least) the ideal fast road spec. If I do any more like start fitting ITBS etc I'll just ruin the daily-drivability of it - and I'd rather see someone else get as much fun out of it as I have.
Spec includes...
Puma 1.7 engine conversion
Heavy duty organic clutch
Cat Cams 'baby' cams (absolutely perfect for fast road - idles spot on and drives like standard below 4k rpm, but keep your toe in and it really comes to life!)
Jamsport custom remap - designed to work with cams
Milltek exhaust, including 4-1 manifold and de-cat
ITG carbon fibre CAIS
Samco hose kit
Koni adjustable dampers and Koni springs (ideal for road use)
Powerflex poly bushes throughout
Mondeo Mk3 calipers and 300mm ST170 discs (cryogenically treated to improve performance)
EBC pads
Braided brake lines
Wolfrace Ultra Lite 15in alloys
Yokohama Parada Spec II tyres
Tinted windows
Kenwood headunit (with iPod, USB, SD card, Aux jack etc etc)
The car has never caused me any issues whatsoever (apart from the bloody HCV, which is now sorted again) and is a real blast to drive. I can honestly say it's a very good little car.
Like any car of that age there are a couple of little faults - there are a couple of little rust bubbles coming back on the rear arches (although this has been treated before) and the interior would really benefit from a proper valet/shampoo.
Other than that it's ready to go. MoT runs out in August and tax expires end of June.
Mileage is 99,300, but I'm still using the car everyday so that will increase - however I have it on good authority that the engine came from a 30k mile Puma (but I cannot prove this)
I'm asking £2000 for it, and if it doesn't sell I won't be that bothered, I'll just keep it for myself.
Any questions just ask. Viewing welcome - I can even get it on a ramp so you can see underneath if you want.
Thanks
