Havent read the thread so I may be way off here but I had a Sapph doing the same. Turned out the wiring harness grommet had come out of the bulkhead and the wiring for number three was rubbed through creating a constant earth and keeping number 3 injector wide open. Was a nice easy fix, which made a nice change
