i think its the same as the ka - which in my ka the standard lump was pushrods and my ka is a 98 unless they revised the engines in that year??

id go 1.8 16v or 2.0 16v and i think its pritty much the same type of conversion as what im doin to the ka im guessing the fiesta was also fitted with an ib5 box??

which means in essence its the same conversion, if you put a 2.0 litre in it you have to change the sump ,oil pick up pipe ,dipstick, flywheel and clutch to 1.8 16v and then it would couple to the ib5 box (presuming it is the ib5 box)

escort gti engine 1.8 16v 115ps would be a good starting platform in my opinion

im guessing youll need a custom engine mount to fit the bigger lump in to the bay and then you would need a wiring harness and ecu to match the engine plus if the new ecu has internal PATS you will need the chip out the key that the ecu came from and have it installed into you current key to start the engine

as for brakes surly the zetec s calipers would fit the mk 4 hubs?? as they fit the ka's!!

suspension - what ever you want to do with it
steering - does your car have power steerng or not??
