I use a 'George' wet and dry vacuum cleaner. Cost about £220 about 5/6 years ago. Have done loads of cars. Occasionally I use the pressure washer on the heavy soiled carpet whilst still in the car, but you have to take care not to over do it. I wouldn't advise this though.
