Default Fitting a oil pressure gauge - (Sapphire Cosworth)!!

Evening all,

So, will all the recent posts on 'what oil' and oil pressure for our pride and joy's, I took note and today bought myself Millers 10 50 and a unboxed a set of guages I bought ages ago.

The oil pressure gauge has a part which gets 'sandwiched' between the oil cooler and the filter. Looks like a well made piece of kit it Aluminium.

The problem I could see straight away.... the engine mount arm.
Ford has given me the wrong filter to start with which is too long However, this is where I could forsee the problem. Together with the smaller stubby/original filter, its still catching the arm.

What did you guys do??

Huw

BTW - the oil pressure switch, that on the O/S just above the sump ??
