Subaru's are no more horrific on fuel, than any other performance car imo.

OEM maps are rich by nature, so a good remap can sort that out. Badly maintained can also be crap on fuel.

Mine is 450bhp and I don't think 24mpg is, in any way, horrific fuel economy for the performance. If I drove like a gay I'm sure I could get 30mpg.

But £1500 on a Scoob....... If you only have that kind of cash to spend, anything performance related is not your bag!!
