whilst you're at halfords buy a socket and a breaker bar, that'll help you in the future, not worth pissing about working round hub nut IMO.
put it all back together, undo nut whilst on ground, undo lower arm and pop shaft out.

if you decide to carry on in the same route, just pop it back in with hammer taps to locate it in the right place.
