This book is as basic as they come, but might help you get your head around some of the concepts involved. It's main focus is single seater type cars, but it does cover bits and pieces on saloon cars too. Light reading they are not, but if you want to see what really goes in to the thinking behind vehicle suspension, they'll give you some ideas.
