If it def not the gearbox or brakes (check it not the shield rubbing on the back of the disks if it only happens when moving,)
I'd check the belt add pullys alternater. pas and aircon pump as the bearings can go. Then I'd check the can belt and gears are tight and the auto adjuster isn't worn, water pump too
