Ok, I understand what you are saying, you don't want the username etc, the only way round this, is to install a program called tweak ui, which can be found on the windows 98 cd-rom. I think it's under plus, and power tools, but i'm not sure. In that program, you can input the username / password and it'll boot into windows normally without you having to do anything.

Not very secure mind you
