hi all. I'm a new member on here although I have read quite a bit over the last couple of months for info.
I have fitted a 1.8 Zetec from a 1994 escort SI into a 100E. I removed the alternator for ease of fitting into the engine bay and have totally forgotten where the big black earth wire that is fixed to the bracket goes to. Does it fit to any of the alternator terminals or the engine block? The charge lamp doesn't light so I was hoping this was the problem. Thanks all.
